A friend of mine's in-laws just had one of their kittens pass away. My friend wanted to make a gift for them in memory of the kitten, and asked if I had any ideas. I don't. Does anyone know something that would be good to make them as a sympathy gift?

Does the gift have to do with the kitten? for instance, could you make your own picture frame shaped like a cat and put a picture of them in it? Or make a keychain with a kitten on it, either a photo or use clay to make your own.

Or is it supposed to be something not related to the kitten? Like meals in a tin (like soups or something easy) that she can cook up real easy if she's feeling kind of low? Or a mix for her to make comfort food.. such as brownies in a tin, or buy frozen cookie dough and decorate the box?

I've never given somebody a sympathy gift.. sorry Sad

She was wanting to do something with a kitten on it. I love the idea of the picture frame and the clay keychain. I'll definitely pass those two ideas along. Thanks!
