Who knew tailoring was so much fun?

I work in a costume shop in a university and one of my students will be graduating at the end of this term. I was trying to think of a gift I could make her. My main crafts are sewing and knitting, but I can do lots of things. I thought about making her socks, because that is basically my go to project, but this is a time when I want something that won't be worn out, like socks. Something maybe more "art-y" than practical. Although practical is good too. My other idea was to make her a little half apron, for sewing. I would buy her nice scissors, but she has them, or maybe a costuming book, but a gift of the crafty kind would be fun.

Goodbye Tucson! I will miss how everything dried so quickly!
