I've been wanting to crochet a rug, but haven't wanted to use yarn for it, and I've always seen tshirt yarn online and have wanted some desperately. I was afraid to try and cut it though, afraid I'd screw it up!! How hard was it to make SammySam? I'm going to start working on my rug with it soon.

pixieval--I recently cut up a whole bunch of old clothes, scarves, etc. I bet you could do that for your rugs!  You just keep cutting almost in a circular fashion...it makes a very very long strand and then tie them together!  I bet I could use t-shirt yarn for that--oh boy--I have tons of old t-shirts!!

I used my cloth yarn for hats--they are in my gallery if you want to see Cheesy

i recieved my thank you "card" from elociNNicole...... zomg... it's such a wonderful "card"!!!!  definitly not what I was expecting, being a non birthday swapper, but wow! Thank YOU Nicole!
We are both alergic to alpaca, so she sent me some alpaca free fiber!  It's all so lovely and soft and wonderful! and the big blue batt is going to look soooooooooo good as a nuno felted scarf...  yummmmm Smiley  still not sure what to do with the pink, but I think it'll look good as a chunky art yarn!

sorry for the computer pics... I'll try and get better pics later.. I was to excited to share my thank you "card"!
