I joined today and claimed Mel! I should have my list up sometime tonight! I promised myself  no more swaps right now-just concentrate on holiday gifts after I get what I have left sent off.. But hey, my birthday only comes once a year!

just thought  I'd update on my progress with elociNNicole's gift. one thing to put together, and i'll be ready to send.  hopefully first thing tuesday, as the post office is closed for Thanksgiving (canada) Monday.

I just claimed sammysam but now I'm worried I'm not doing it right!!! 

I'm an October birthday and signed up for the swap.  When I claim someone am I just supposed to pick one thing from their list?  I did pick just one thing and sent a PM to both sammysam and sin esparanza (if I spelled that wrong, I apologize but don't worry, I spelled it correctly when I sent the PM)

I'm a dork, can someone explain this to me pretending that I'm a easily distracted 4 year old ?

Sounds right to me. I picked just one thing from Mel's list when I claimed her, but since we're supposed to do equivilant to a medium, and it works out to not quite a medium, I'm also going to make something inspired from her wist. So you would claim "this item" from sammysam's list, and you can send extras, supplies, or something from their wist too if you'd like.

zickackly!  items claimed and sent should add up to a medium.  up to 3hrs of crafting but not more is a general guide.  I reckon a custom laptop bag is a medium.  hope that helps.
