I've been so busy with work and crafting that i've barely had time to browse this site nevermind post! So I give you a bunch of my recent projects! (I also made a bunch that I didnt manage to take pics of before sending off

I always do that!)
First... I made a set of keykalou curvy clutches for a girl's wedding!
It's dandy damask in pistachio by michael miller lined with a bright orange satin. mini magnetic snaps.
this was my first time ever matching patterns...I never ever ever want to do that again. It's worse than fussy cutting for a quilt, and there is sooo much waste fabric, broke my heart (ps if anyone's looking for small scraps of this fabric (like 2" wide), I have a bunch for free)
Doesn't looked like the pattern is lined up, but it's because of the angle of the camera...I swear, lol.

Pretty, bright orange.

All tucked in and ready to go to their temporary home (until they're given to the bridesmaids). Note the perfectly lined up flaps.

Next is a tote bag with my mother's all time favorite sports team, the patriots. I love this print. Cotton exterior, denim interior and strap. The whole thing is done with fusible fleece, a double layer in the strap. New closure for me... A tab with the male end of a magnetic snap is passed through a d-ring and then connects to the female snap part on the front of the bag. I really like how this looks and how secure it is!

Inside

Same pattern. No fusible fleece just craft weight interfacing (i prefer this look). Same closure, different tab shape.
Don't know why the sides look rounded, probably because there's nothing in it to weigh down the bottom, and the straps are super heavy duty.

and the inside

And a bonus...I know he doesn't go here, but i'm too lazy to make another post...
My first crochet project, an amaguri lion.
Yes, thats right, he's a hunting lion, in camoflauge and hunter orange yarn (these yarns were specifically picked out by his new daddy). He whipped up so fast and came out so cute (although I'm not too happy about the eye placement-also the dad's pick).

On a side note... He's actually "stuffed" with river rocks. He weighs almost 2 lbs!
I also did a swap recently, the Adult Swim Swap

That's it for now...There will be plenty more coming in the next month! Happy crafting!
