I was asked to participate in an art auction to benefit my alma mater, but the art had to be on this lovely skateboard I was given. It was a hideous shade of florescent yellow and in the words of my former professor "it glow in dark." My personal art is totally different than how the board ended up. I love fabric, which I work with, but I felt like a hack stealing some brocade satin pattern I found on the internet. So...I created a fabric-inspired pattern but out of something that was totally....me. And yes, I hand cut that stupid cat stencil. I give you...katboard.
