Hi this is my first time posting any of my work here on Craftster.

I made these cuttings about 2 years ago so please forgive me for forgetting the source of two of the patterns.  If it is really important I can do the research and find out where they came from.  Without further ado, here they are:

These are from the book Papercutting: Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Learning the Craft by Claudia Hopf

Again I do not know the source of these patterns.

I hope you enjoyed!

So clever! That first one with the birds is beautiful, I'd definitely have that framed up on a wall! Grin

These are wonderful! So intricate. I would say that the first one is my favorite, but you did so well with all of them too!  Grin

Thank you all for your praise.  My favorites are the 1st and the 4th ones too.  I'm probably going to make the last one for a friend of mine who is expecting her first girl and framing it.

How beautiful! I won't make you find the original patterns but if you decide to do any more could you let us know the patterns? My daughters would love these!

I am always wondering: do you use scissors for all te cut-outs or do you also use a scalpel?

I have been seriously ill. I will get back to everyone to finish up all swaps and stuff. I am home now.

I still have full use of my hands since I take my time to do each one (which means that they take hours).  And to answer another question I always use a x-acto knife.  I've tried doing it the traditional way with a scissor and it turned out horrible.
