I love maneki nekos, known to attract good luck and good fortune.  Grin
I have to embroider stroke by stroke, the kanjis 'sen man ryou' 千万両 worth 10 million of the japanese Edo period money on the coin or koban.

It's wonderful. I've been thinking of making one myself (or actually two for two friends who loves cats) but since I'm no good with japanese signs I've been hesitating. I'm sure I never could have made it this good looking anyway and now I hesitate even more...
