I have been wanting to do something with the ceiling fan in my office for some time now but was not sure what.  I new it needed to be painted as it was definitely showing its age (which is old!). Well I finally got around to taking the whole thing apart, began sanding and painting, and wallah!

My new ceiling fan:

And the ugly before pic:

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Pretty!  Did you use a template?  It looks so perfect.  And what did you seal it with?  It's very shiny.

This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.

Hello.  Thanks for the kind words.

pinokeeo~ I did use I stencil I found at Michael's Craft Store and I sealed it with just a clear spray paint.
The first time I tried painting with the stencil I got a little heavy handed with the paint which caused the paint to run under the stencil (lesson learned).  After I re-sanded them, I painted the stencils in 2 steps by gently misting them, letting them dry, and spraying them again.

Thank you.  I'd like to try this on my fan blades.  Great job.
