where on earth would you find fabric that has like faux croc texture to make a nifty looking bag?  I love that look, fauz croc, faux bois (sp) in a fabric texture.  I *so* need a new purse (whine!)

faux bois is like "fake wood." Like those fabrics you see that have a woodgrain printed on them. Faux croc fabric- you can find at joann! I got some on sale a couple months ago. It's a vinyl so it'll be in the home dec. section. There are lots of colors of vinyl croc design you can special order. like white, brown, black, metallics, etc. But only a brown that I found in the store. I think it was $30/yard?  But on sale for 50% off when I got it.
good luck!
*I love faux croc stuff too!!*

Have you tried other fabric online places?

I'm a big fan of Vogue Patterns Magazine, and they offer their swatch club of Vogue Fabrics by Mail in pretty well every issue. I haven't indulged ... yet, but I have a feeling I'm going to...
