here's what i did yesterday. i'm putting it in the miscellaneous board because even though it's a carved pumpkin, it's not really that halloweenie. i've also posted a tutorial over at my blog: http://skelectica.blogspot.com/2009/10/pumpkin-carving.html

the end result is a poster for an upcoming show that friends (of friends) of mine are doing in october. i carved the pumpkin with their names, and added the show details with paint.net, which is an AWESOME free image editing program.

here's a pic; there are more at my blog, and there will be a set up on my flickr page shortly.

Very nicely done!  You did an excellent job with the carving.  Your photography skills are great too.  I love the poster!
