Where did you get the good lace?

Close-out at Joann Fabrics. I have taken to buying a lot of my venise lace, however, from Cheeptrims.com, or ordering from Japanese suppliers.

Wow, this is really beautiful.  Those pleats? AMAZING.

Your attention to detail is spectacular.  I bow to you.

Wonderful, wonderful work.

I make Elegant Gothic Lolita goods on commission, and sometimes I just make things for the online store!

Hey! I love your skirt. I was wondering, did you make the petticoat under it fluffing it up, did you buy it at a store, or did you buy a home made one?

I've wanted to have something to give my skirts more of a 1950's look... but I tried just winging a petticoat once and had to throw the whole unsalvageable project out. Sad Any direction you can point me in to making my own? Do I even have the right word for what I'm thinking of?
