It's made from various scraps of red fabric including cotton, velvet, and screen-printed fabric.

I was going to say pretty much the exact same thing!  It's gorgeous!  I love the different colours and textures.

Are they made from circles of fabric with the edges gathered to the centre?

It's so beautiful. The texture and the different colors work so well together. I love the back too it could be worn either way.
