nice - I especially like the pearls, but wait, I like the fabric yo-yo one, also.  How do you keep the fabric connecting part braided or is it braided?  thanks.

How'dja do the Zig-Zag?
I roll my own cigarettes, so I have a bunch of zig-zag tobacco cans.
I just cut out the logo with metal sheers and sanded the edges.

So far the only plating I know how to do is accidental. If you use metal pickling agent with steel tongs instead of coppper it will plate everything copper. I think the ancient Egyptians used a form of plating and the Greeks also knew about it so you may be able to make something simple. not sure how to do it though.
