I am doing a baked potato bar... what is your favorite topping??  here is what I have so far:

Baked Potatoes , baked sweet potatos
butter, flavored butters(garlic, lemon pepper, parmasan ) , sour cream
brown sugar, cinnamon (for sweet potatoes)
Cheese: Paramasan cheese, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar
Veggies: steamed broccoli, steamed mixed veggies, steamed peas, salsa
dice black olives, dices green olives
homemade chilli with meat & beans , crumbled bacon , shredded cooked chicken , diced ham
also taco chips (so people can make nacho rather than a potato if they wish)
Frank Red Hot Sauce

I am trying to choose things that work together, so it's not just a mish mash of stuff on the table.

any other suggestions??

****Also is there a search feauture that I am not finding?? I didn't want to post this if it had already been a topic.

I like baked beans with baked potatoes.  The kind that are a little sweet.  It would go well with the ham or bacon.

I really like brie cheese on baked sweet potatoes.

On normal potatoes I like coleslaw (and if feeling really greedy cheese & coleslaw!).

Hope it all goes well!

In Texas we eat barbeque baked potatoes which are baked potatoes with chopped beef and barbeque sauce. We then add toppings that you already mentioned- cheese, chives, sourcream, butter. YUMMMM! Tell us how it goes!!

Jason's Deli makes a baked potato I love.  In addition to cheese & broccoli, they put on a broccoli cheese soup.

I don't like sour cream so I use a little ranch or blue cheese dressing.

All those options sound amazing....Can I please come to the party?  Grin
