I used this recipe for the easiest, tastiest roasted pears http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/roasted-pears-with-blue-cheese-and-walnuts-recipe/index.html

Quote
Ingredients
4 pears, halved, but not peeled or cored
Extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 bunch fresh thyme
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup crumbled good-quality blue cheese
1/4 cup walnut pieces

Visit their site for the full recipe!  I think the internet police will get me if I copy/paste the whole recipe. Grin

Sooo nummy!

Nummmy!  We had lots of pears left over from my son's birthday party, so these were a great solution for some of them.  mr.sweets was a little scared at first, but after just one bite, he was convinced!
