I was just talking about these earrings, with some other people, and decided to show them here. I know that there are many seed beaders and I have seen some gorgeous wire work. I am not a wire wrapper, but this idea was generated more out of 'want' then knowing what I am doing!  Grin

I think this idea may be just as good if the twisting wire was not 'wrapped'!

Erin I LOVE these.  They remind me of the Steampunk genre, absolutely cool and classy with a funky edge to them.  Beautiful work as always!

Whoa, I love your take on these! I never thought about the 'Steampunk' relationship...but I DO see it!

Thanks Mihana!

Ah, quite lovely and very interesting to look at! How big are they, if you don't mind me asking?

I'd prefer them without the wire wrapped around them, myself. But lovely!

I like the wire spiraling around, and also the texture that the wire-wrapping gives it. I think you could go without it if the pattern of the peyote stitched part was bolder (more contrast).
