I made this dress out of 67 kool aid jammers. It took about 10 hours, all are sewed.
It was going to be for prom but then I decided that I wanted the traditional gorgeous prom dress. So this dress is for homecoming! i'm so excited!! =D

more pictures to come, i still have to make all the accessories. =]

That's a neat idea, but it looks awfully hot and itchy. Did you line it? I can't wait to see what you do with the accessories!

I really like how you added the sequin trim to the top. I think it would look pretty good on the bottom hemline as well Cheesy
What a great way to upcycle!

That is amazing.
When I graduated (a while ago) I wore a dress made out of the game "TWISTER".
I really enjoyed that dress, but it was sooo hot.

Hahaha if only I was more aware of upcycling back in the day... I would've wanted to wear something shiny like this to prom or some other kind of dance Cheesy

Great work!!!! I love the lining at the top of the dress :>

I think this dress is my boyfriends ultimate fantasy. Great job. Did you iron them together, or line it and sew it?
