My first lace shawl, yay!  The pattern is the Forest Canopy Shawl and it was awesome, very well written and included both written instructions and charts.  The yarn is one skein of South West Trading Company's Bamboo (100% Bamboo) in the Purplexed Colorwary.  I can't wait to wear it this fall!

That is so gorgeous! I love how you're wearing it like a trendy scarf! That pattern is so beautiful. Great job.

beautiful, very finely executed for your first lace SHAWL!

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Gorgeous!  I love the colour.  How long did it take for you to finish?

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!  And Connie- because I could only work on it when I could really concentrate, it took 5 months of working a couple of rows every few days.  If I just sat down and worked on it a good amount of time every day, I think I could have finished it in about two weeks.
