EDIT EDIT EDIT

I had to remove the image I had posted because it wasn't mine (oops!), but since I posted, I have figured out how to do toilet paper origami and have posted a few pictures in the completed projects section. Go ahead and have a look!

I found this photo on the interwebs and was intrigued. Not surprising considering one of my favorite books is The Social History of the Toilet.
A good book. You should check it out... if you happen to like history and toilets. Enough rambling!
I did some origami recently at an anime convention (see post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=320566.msg3694752#msg3694752)
and when I stumbled across this, I got all a-twitter. Anybody here ever gotten crafty with their toilet paper?

I did this a couple times a while ago, but then stopped. Thanks for reminding me of it! It makes me want to fold the paper while I'm at other people's houses and watch their reactions.

I love when they fold the ends of the toilet paper fancy when we stay at hotels!  I do it at home sometimes after I clean the bathroom.  I never thought about doing it at other people's houses...fun!

I youtubed it and figured out how to do it, so I folded my toilet paper. I can't wait until my hubby gets home!

Probably won't notice though...  Undecided

Oh well!
That's awesome! I need to go visit people! I think I am going to have to become the "toilet paper origami ninja" and start folding toilet paper in every bathroom I use. Now I have something to look forward to at work on Monday. Yay!

I've made TP ATC's. I used sturdy backing and rolled the paper up to make a 2D picture. I glued it down with mod podge, added green powdered tempera and more mod podge. I call it 'Bad hair day for raindrop in the grass'.

Fiber & dye fanatic. I use wool, silk, pearls, beeswax, feathers in my creations. Let me know if you prefer vegan. I can do! Up/Re/cycled, nature & beauty inspired. Do you make beautiful natural/nature oriented stuff? Brooches, miniatures, useful items & more I would love! Let's do a swap!
