That's a really neat idea. Sewing for my body type (small rib cage that tapers in rapidly, comes to a point and then flares out into small hips) I'd do the stretchy close fitting bit from directly under the bust until just above the hips, almost like a corset. Still, yours looks good on you.

I do agree with you on the flowery pink thing for guys though there are probably some who are willing to make a statement with it.

thanks everyone Cheesy

Ooh Ooh.  When I saw this, I thought of how it might look as a real dress... if you buttoned up the bottom and put in two black triangles on the sides.

it does close at the bottom front, just not when i am wearing mahoosive jeans underneath. it fits just right over tightish jeans, but i was too lazy to go get them for the pic  Roll Eyes

Heh... the "before" shirt seriously reminds me of the clothes my school orchestra director wears. Scary stuff. But the final product is very cute.

cool dress Smiley i like how it looks with your tanktop matching the panel.
Those flower-pattern mens shirts are actually REALLY popular right now here in Japan, and Japanese men (hipster guys) can actually pull it off..
