So I've made "Casey's Coat" for my Chihuahua puppy [I get him in 3 weeks, when he's old enough to go!] Does anyone know of any chihuahua gifts I can kill the next three weeks making him???

How about making him a little bed that looks like a taco shell with some shredded lettuce for the mattress?  This idea sprang from pictures I've seen pictures of Dachshund pups on hot dog rolls -- just too cute!

Happiness is a warm min pin...

I have two tiny tot min pins and they are pretty small 6 and 7 lbs and when we first got them they were beyond tiny and we found that ferret collars were all that fit so you may want to get one or two of those and spruce them up a little. They have bells which are helpful when trying to find these tiny guys when they find their way to the oddest places. Toy breed dogs like to burrow in so I've made my girls little cushioned sleep sacks. Cut two large rectangles of fabric one for the inside and one for the out side. Fuzzy fabrics work best. Now sew them together with some cushy batting between and then fold in half and sew up the sides so that one short side is open. They can lay on top of these or crawl inside.

Also personalize a towel for you to use when bathing, and either sew or buy and embellish a receiving blanket to wrap it up in after baths so it doesn't get cold. My two drag their blankets around to make a cozy spot somewhere and I lay out the blanket on the floor when I give them treats that are messy so the carpet stays clean and they are easy to just throw in the wash.

Also if you can't screen print yourself, like I can't, I've had personalized tees made up for my dogs through cafepress.com you can take any computer image/text and have them put it on a tee for you and your dog. I have ones I made up that say stuff like I'm with stupid and other silly sayings. Min Pins have very short hair and are prone to getting sunburns, chis might be too so I try to keep a tee on them when we are going to be out in the sun for any length of time. Learned this the hard, expensive way. Vets are so expensive!

If you get them used to you grooming them and wearing clothes early then you shouldn't have any problems later.
