I just Purchased my very first sewing machine and am really excited about it. so i decided to do one last hand sewn project. a pin cushion. so i search on this site because i wanted to be inspired and i found this post:

its cool cuz we both decided to make pin cushion to go with our new sewing machines. I changed mine up a bit but they idea and props go to her.anyways if anyone is interested in a tutorial pm me and i will help u out.

its like a beach ball...just cut ur fabric like one section of a beach ball and sew them the same way...i did two layers.
