I've got mucho catching up to do on this board. So many stories, and lesbian Rapunzels, and whoknowswhat. But I guess all of us will have plenty fo bonding time, considering the swap delivery date is in January...
Wonder what everyone's large swap of doom is going to be like... To create something SO epic will definitely be a challenge!

When you say "roughly" 1 sm, 1m and 1lg gift how strict is that? I mean can our partner decide they want 3 medium gifts or 2 large ones or (please gods no) 6 smalls?

Has anyone seen/been in the musical Into The Woods? The musical does a good effort of messing up the fairy tales. There is a movie of the Broadway version with Bernadette Peters it is great if you can find it.

I reckon as long as it adds up to the 6 points you can negotiate with your partner.  You can also negotiate if you want to send more the 6 points.  And you can always just decide to spoil your partner as a surprise.  But the basic requirements will be 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small - unless otherwise decided between partners.  Does that help?

   I can't believe I didn't think of this! I have seen the show and was just listening to this CD yesterday and didn't make the connection at all.

Yay! I just sent in my questionnaire!

Another fun fairy tale retelling is the musical Once Upon a Mattress(The Princess and the Pea)--I played in the orchestra for my high school production(more years ago than I want to think about), and sometimes it was really hard to play instead of laugh.

Can't wait to get started!

Hey fiorinda, I played in the pit orchestra for Once Upon a Mattress in high school too!  Also very long ago.  But it sure was fun.

I've never seen Into The Woods but I know I'd love it! I thought about choosing it for my costume design module last year but there were too many characters. Maybe I'll consider it this year though...
