That was fast.  We have our first sender and receiver.
Looks like that tail can swivel.  Does it?

sorcivamp tacked it on about 2" from the tip so I don't think it does. and it's that really feel-good felt, too!

Grin Here's my Cirque du Soleil Dragon from Sorcivamp!! AWESOME does not even begin to describe him!!! He's made from handpainted fabric with whimsical Cirque du Soleil-like patterns, and his head is sculpted and has incredible detail (the picture doesn't do him justice, sorry. I'll try to get some better ones and post them later, but I couldn't wait to share him!!) FANTASTIC job, Sorcivamp!! Thank you so much!

amazing!!! something like this doesn't get posted with some questions, sorcivamp!!
--what is the head sculpted from--sculpey? air dry? and how is it assembled to the fabric (holes punched into neck?)
--what are the wings/scales made of and how are those assembled
I can't believe you painted this whole thing--what was the main fabric--just a strong white/beige cotton?
--finally, how did those horns not break off? i would have had them in my hands way before i started painting blue.
you r really, really gifted.

Ok here goes... the head horns and scales are sculpey painted and finished with future floor polish(LOVE THE STUFF)

I did the horns separate and then glued them on (they fell of like 3 times)

The wings are stiff felt and shiny fabric

and the fabrics were both prints I painted the green stripes and the black diamonds

Each dotee took me like 24 hours in all about 2 days or something like that. (like I said lots of free time)

All I do is watch my little bro who is four (which usually means him playing a video game or something he loves Legend of Zelda), and cook dinner.  All the other time I craft and art to keep sane!!  Let me tell ya the last year or so I have made alot of stuff, otherwise I get REALLY bored.

If the head is sculpey, where and how did you attach the hanger?  I've often wondered about that when the entire head is poly clay.
