So I came home from school this morning and got a lovely surprise in my mailbox!!! I got my package from h0p31355!!! My package kind of had a bit of an oops as I was carrying it home and it exploded in a mess of recyclable papery goodness...so I don't really have a "before opening" picture. ^^;;

All the goodies on my kitchen table!!! I got a ton of amazing fabric, some jam, a book full of recipes, a handmade bag and a bag full of sewing goodies!!

Some yummmmmmyyy looking jam. Mmm...

An amazing bag (I love the fabric on the inside)

A book semi-filled with recipes that Michelle had that didn't require measuring. Yumm...no more starving college student for me..

Some adorable fabric. Look at that cat with the hat... Cheesy So cute.

And some vintage fabric. Sheesh! This stuff is like...totally awesome. I think I might've squealed when I found them hiding in there.

The inside of the bag. Just because i love it so much.

Thank you so much Michelle!!! You've spoiled me to death! I love it.

Makes me wish I had sent my partner some jam since I just made some strawberry/raspberry.  I like that bag, too!

My package from AutumnKisses got here today!  I feel pretty spoiled - she sent some awesome stuff!

She said something about it not seeming stuffed to the gills because it was a slightly larger envelope than the flat rate..but I didn't even notice - I just saw lots of stuf as soon as I got it open:

All the supplies: embroidery thread and 18 count Aida, three zippers, two super cute stamps, a variety of stone beads, a green t-shirt, fabric paints, fabric singles, stencil brushes, bamboo knitting needles and some very yummy brown yarn:

I forgot to put this in with the supplies - a knitting magazine.  I never buy these for myself, so this is a treat:

Nice bright dishcloths:

Delicious smelling homemade soaps.  I smelled them as soon as I opened the package and I wondered what it was - I love the smell of homemade soap:

Freezer stencil t-shirt!  With blue and green birds flying around the side.  It's big on me now, which is great because it should fit when my belly gets nice and big next year. Smiley

Back:

And front:

And my favourite thing: a teapot cozy!!  When I pulled this out of the envelope, I couldn't figure it out - I found the note explaining everything when it was all out - but after some thinking, I got an idea and put it on my teapot.  The sad thing is that my teapot is broken and I haven't found a new one - but at least I could use it to model the cozy!

Thank you so much, AutumnKisses!!  What a great swap!

YAY! glad you like everything...I sent you the fabric paints, sponges and an extra t-shirt because you said that you had the freezer paper but didn't know/ hadn't got around to making anything with it so I thought that'd be of some use for you.
Also, I just winged the teapot cozy, I couldn't find a pattern that I liked so it's just simple single crochets in a round. Hopefully it fits your new teapot, it was pretty snug on mine that I used as a model.
Jeeze I could have sent you some jam too  Undecided ah well! Thanks again for being such an amazingly awesome swap partner!  Kiss And a big bouquet of thanks to slingmama for a great swap!!

Awesome packages.  That jam looks delicious.  I just made some peach jam, peach and pepper relish, and lavender jelly.  But I would be afraid of a jar smashing in transit!  I love that tote too, with that lining material.  Itchyfingers, that shirt looks fantastic, and now I have to keep an eye out for that magazine myself.

The piece of blue kitty fabric is 1.5M so I wrapped the jam up in that, and crossed my fingers!  It was my first year making jam, and it was easier than I thought, and very delicious  Wink

Glad you loved your package <3

I'm 100% jealous of the tea cozy :O
