I've been jonesing for a bike swap since I started swapping, and now that I have overcome my fear of organizing I might as well just do it myself! So, what do you guys think? It could be for bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, etc. and we could craft all sorts of loving goodies! I'm thinking basket liners, tube cozies, stencilled shirts, fingerless gloves and other fabulous bike related merch. It would be awesome!

Anyone else interested?

I love this idea! I was actually thinking of posting a feeler for it myself but didn't want to plan it myself.

I start bicycling a lot this year and would love to get involved in this! I have a ton of ideas rolling around in my head already.

I hope we get some more interest, I really really want to do this! I'll change the heading to be a little more descriptive...

I would probably be interested, depending on when sign ups and send outs are.
I'm organizing my first swap right now so I don't want to be too busy.

i dig that time frame. I'm pretty open right now though. It's be cool to do crafty stuff for riding safely in the rainy/dark weather.

I'm totally willing to organize, but you can co-organize if you're interested. :.)
Guess I'll start signups in a week or two!

I'd be interested.  I posted here awhile ago about this same thing and got hardly any interest so it never happened.  I'm glad to see more interest this time!  Smiley

yay! Okay, so what if i start signups next weekend (october 9th) so macnatalie isn't too bogged down with organizing her first swap and can hopefully join us, and they can go through the 16th or so. Sendouts can be november 16th or 30th or so? Do all these dates sound reasonable to you guys?

How big do you want this swap to be? I know some people are opposed to the points system, but I'd hate to lock us in to a set number of smalls/mediums larges...
