I've been so interested in embroidery again as of late. Here are a few recent pieces.

This is from a vintage iron on transfer pattern. I found it at an estate sale. It was fun and fast. I'm thinking of adding a top hat and music notes.

I got this image from a book featuring art deco art. I just drew it on the fabric and winged it (heh)...

This image is from a 1940's childrens book I have about baby animals. I used three colors to do the fleece. Dark grey light greay and white... all those french knots took forever. I worked for like 2-3 days at every chance i got.
The crazy part of me wants to do his face and legs in all black... I'm pretty sure thats not going to happen.

Thats it!
I have no idea what to make these into... they are currently just being displayed on my wall in their hoops......... pillows?Huh?? Any ideas are welcome.

Wow.

With all those knots I don't know if I should call you an inspiration or a crazy person. Either way they are lovely pieces.

Oh, I got it: And you are an inspiration in crazy (stitching, anyway)  Wink

I am in insanely jealous of that sheep, I get quite frustrated doing French knots, so well done you! The bird design is beautiful too.

I love them all, and the lamb was worth the insanity of all those french knots!
