well, you can see the seams of the corners when reversed, but i did it on both so maybe some people will think it looks cool?

chainreaction___, i LOVE that! awesome fabric colour combination! [anything grey and pink is cool by me]

and i really think the reversible effect turned out nicely!

i will have to try that sometime.

Oh my Gosh ThePeensta! That bag ROCKS! I love the combination of the girly satin bow with serious, tweedy fabric.

I like the way it sits too - did you use interfacing? I keep wanting to make a bag but I don't have any interfacing and I'm afraid it'll be to soft without it. Yours looks just right.  Smiley

nope, no interfacing. I just bought upholstery fabric from the bargain bin for the outside, and it stands up pretty well on it's own.

My first purse with these directions (that fine tuned some of the things I had done on my own without much thought)...

10) pull the entire bag inside out now through the hole you left in the corner of the lining.

hey jordy! great tutorial!

a question though, how did you manage to pull the bag inside out (esp with fabric as thick as interfaced tweed) through that tiny hole left in the corner?
