Here are a couple of my Jordy bags, made from quilted Chinese polyester fabric.
The handles were really tough to turn inside out because the fabric is quite thick, but it was worth the sore fingers in the end!

Thanks for the great pattern, Jordy!

Has anyone tried adding FOAM to their jordy bags?!

A really famous designer here in the Philippines makes totes and other bags that are pretty much made with the "Jordy" pattern, but she puts foam/padding to make it softer. I was trying to get a feel of the bags a few days ago--basically there's interfacing, but not too hard, and then foam...I think it's about 1/8" foam.

I tried making one bag with foam :

It was a b*tch to sew the foam on, I had to put strips of fabric on top and below...but I was wondering if anyone else tried doing this? Maybe you can share some techniques?
