I wish I had this tuorial a few weeks ago lol...
I tried to make my first interfaced bag but it ended up
looking like a diaper bag so I gave it to my sister-in-law.
Also, your strap technique is way better than what I came up with! Great job! I love the little kitty!!

Jordy,
That's a gorgeous bag, and it looks really well-done! What are the final dimensions of the bag? I'd like to make one but it has to be able to hold pens, for example, plus my wallet plus thing x, y, or z of mine. If you have any suggestions about making a slightly bigger bag, I'm all ears, but I'll start off right here with this one, it's so cute!

Thanks so much,
Cristina

i notice after the bag is done.. the bottom corners go inwards.. is there a way of preventing this?

Cut off a triangle at each corner like so:

It'll be easier for the corner to be poked out with a pen without all that extra fabric in the way.

Edit: I just realized the corner you're talking about may be different than the one I pictured. If so, please ignore.  Smiley

4) pinch together the corners of the fabric
http://img7.photobucket.com/albums/v17/thejordy/tutorial/4.jpg

5) stitch but only do this to one corner. leave the other one open so you have a hole.

On this part am I supppose to stitch together both corners (th partswith the squares cut out? Where am I suppose to leave the hole (at the very top)? Sorry for sounding so clueless

yeh the pointy corner thing depends on how you want it to look.
i dont mind the semi-rounded look.

i imagine you could do what vestarita suggests and maybe press it too? i dunno.

and trendydiva :
5) stitch but only do this to one corner. leave the other one open so you have a hole.

and leave a hole in the top. there will be 2 holes. the top one and the one corner you didnt stitch together.
you stitch that corner in another step.

how did you do the whole silkscreen process, what fabric did you use to create the tag?
