Here is a new top i finished a couple weeks ago. I am really proud of it, because its one of the first items of clothing i have made that is fitted with out using stretchy fabric. I designed the top myself, although my idea changed a lot while I was making it. It is also the first time I added darts to an item of clothing, and I just kinda had to play around with it, to get them right. Although it does wrinkle funny in a few places and some of the seams are a little funky, overall I am happy. The material is actually from an old pair of pants, but I decided not to post it on the reconstruction board, because I did not use any of the seams or design of the pants, just the material. The zipper and ribbon are a lavender color and the material is a dark gray.

So here are some shots of the top just before I was about to go out (the color looks a little off in the pics)......

Here are some close ups I took to get a better idea of the construction and color
(sorry for the large boob shot, I was having trouble holding the camera far enough away with out the top pulling weird or wrinkling funny)

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!

I want that so bad!  It looks great!  I can't believe you made something that awesome from a pair of pants, that's not a lot of material to work with.
