my first foray into tassel-making AND cables! i really love the way it turned out and now i wish i had invested in some nicer yarn. Sad next time.  i love this stuff even though it's an acrylic blend. the speckles make it look like jawbreakers.

Very beautiful!  Nice job on the cables!  I make pass-thru scarves from eyelash yarn for gifts, so I'm forever explaining the hole is *supposed* to be there.  Well, my husband bought me this cool scarf before Christmas and I just now figured out it, too, is a pass-thru scarf!  I always just wondered why they made it so short?  LOL

So gorgeous!  I love the little rainbow flecks scattered throughout, it really makes the scarf pop!

That looks great! Can you share the instructions on how to make the pass-thru hole? Do you just bind off a stitch and knit the two sides separately for a few rows?
