There is a small store in Highland on Palm Ave (between Baseline St and 5th St) called Black Diamond. It's a teeny tiny store but they have some nice fabrics, most for $2 a yard! Some upholstery fabrics, fleece and stretch fabrics as well as some cotton vintage inspired prints. They have a nice little supply of some hard to find lace and stretch lace and some ribbon. I found some fun skully stretch fabric, some leopard print fleece in a few colors and some nicely priced plain colored cotton. Some old patterns (1960's through 1990's) for 50cents and a few notions as well.

Probably not worth going completely out of your way for but I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area to support a small fabric store. They also hold some sewing classes and have nice sales. I can get more info if anyone would like as they are not listed anywhere I can find! The nice lady that was working when I visited had cute purple and blond hair with some neat looking tattoos. The store seems to have an alternative edge with some pretty fabrics as well. They said they get new stuff in about every two weeks.

Check it out if you get a chance, goodness knows we need some new fresh fabric store choices out here in San Bernardino besides JoAnns (no offense to JoAnns! Cheesy) (Approx address is around 7390 Palm Ave, Highland CA 92346)
