Update!

I have completed small and one medium, and have supplies for other medium, and since I really need to get crackin on my stocking swap, I will probably knock that out tomorrow.

Woohoo!!

P.S. I almost got busted today. I was typing out a PM to my partner and answering a question, when in he walks and looks over my shoulder. EEK!

You guys are such speedy crafters! I'm working away, but nothing's finished. But I suppose I start everything at once. Tongue

I'm just back from an event, and we ended up standing around in armour in the pouring rain. Stayed nice and dry. Cheesy

I always find crafting for men much trickier, but after much communication with my partner, I've finally settled on all the items I'm making.  One of them has the potential to be a fail so I'm trying to think of a back up plan to have in place.  I can work on everything but 1 item.  I have to wait until I have the money to buy a particular skein of yarn.  Everything else, I have in stash.

I'm working on this swap in bits and pieces because I've stepped up to angel for someone in another swap that I'm coorganizing.  She and another woman had pre-swap communication and specifically requested each other as partners, and then her partner flaked on her!  Ugh!  So, I'm trying to get her a good box of spoiling together real quick while also working on this swap.

So, I have had this idea stuck in my head to make a particular item.  I had seen the supplies I needed before, but now that I was looking for it, I couldn't find it.  After many stores, I finally found it, at Walmart.  Should have looked there first.  Now to get more crafting done!

I just finished up my first item, and showed it to a mate who came over. Who then demanded I make him one.  Roll Eyes
Way to give myself more work!

That is just like me. I have about three things going on at once, but I'm thinking my medium will be done first....It's turning out better than expected  Grin (not that I don't have high expectations... Wink )

I got a lot done and found a great tutorial for an item I wanted to make but had no idea how to Smiley My partners guy and mine are almost the exact same height so he has been a great sport at letting me try things out on him. I love how everything is coming out so far.
