Pattern by Janelle, you can find her on etsy as a plus amigurumi (right now all her profits are going to Haiti).
Just finished it and it turned out almost like the pattern dictated! I don't read very well so Janelle wrote this out in long hand and it really, really helped me a lot. I worked on it for two evenings and part of this morning so not really a fast project but I'm sure I'd be faster if I did it more than once.
Darn cute too, darn darn darn cute!

I was counting every few rounds and ended up with about 3 or 4 extra for the trunk which I decided not to pull out. It's kinda long but I think it looks fun anyhow. It's got pipecleaner in it so it's bendable.

Back with tail. Ear shape and placement is ingenious, I really liked this part of the pattern. Very sweet results.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if I'd totally botch this or just give up or what so I grabbed the first handy ball of scrap in my stash. Turned out pretty nice, it's going to my friend's little girl who just had her room redone in purple (my 2 year old stole it right away but has since given it back, she's funny that way).
