09/21/09 - Lots of excitement in the swapping world! Revised Swap Info, New Mods

Hey all!

There's lots of exciting stuff going on today in the swapping world (and beyond)!

First, we've updated the Swap Info!

There are very few actual rule changes. Most of the changes had already been in use in the everyday swapping world, but not listed in the rules, so we've tidied that up quite a bit! Things should be more thorough and easier to understand (we hope!). There are a few important eligibility changes, however!

The new rules state that swappers must be at least 16 and that organizers must be at least 18.  This changes from the previous age limit of 13. Don't worry, if you're under 16 and you've swapped before, you can still swap! Just contact the Help Desk for more information.  

We've also updated most of the stickies found at the top of the swap boards.

Also, we have lots of moving and shaking going on in Moderator Land! Four new additions to the squad and lots of other moving around. Lapoli and alteredmommy, of Shop the Swap fame, are our two awesome new swap mod additions! Plus, fantasticmio and Nymeria are joining as the Sewing in General mod and the Bath and Beauty mod respectively! MareMare and I will still help them out as co-mods, but MareMare will also be co-modding Jewelry and Trinkets! Jane Doe will be added as the Spinning moderator, and PinkMafia will be stepping down as a swap mod, but you can check her out moderating in the Costumes board!
