Glad you like her! I worked FOREVER on that doll. Clay is so much easier for me to figure out than actual stuffed dolls...go figure.

My husband and grandma made fun of me for the tractor gear shifter- they said they had no idea what it was. I was just trusting you'd know, fiberartsy! And I didn't attach a band/ring to the "pearl" because I thought that would look kind of weird on a necklace. I did have just the red ball on there (and I liked it pretty well that way) so I sent the extra one in case you wanted a necklace with just that. It was my favorite of the three Smiley

And thanks guys! I kind of figured out a new technique for making something clay look like it's not clay. That doll is heavy though, isn't it fiberartsy! With all the clay and sand...I thought it was gonna cost me a fortune to ship (luckily it wasn't too bad Cheesy )

Yes I can tell you worked very hard on her.  It really is wonderful.  She is heavy too!  And I knew right away what the charms were representing.  I love it.  Thanks again!!!!!!

o-o so much talent in this swap

Ok, since I know my partner has received and hasn't had time to post, I thought I'd post some pics of the items I sent her.

She told me she liked hair clips and those are something I adore making, so I had a blast coming up with some Coraline ones.
First was one with buttons and feathers. I don't know why I had these wooden spools laying in my craft drawer, but they just said "use me!" *chuckles*

I also wanted to make something with the cat. I loved how it came out so I made myself a pair with orange eyes for halloween.

She also said she'd like a pin cushion, so I made her a squidy one. The button is a vintage one I found a few years back. It has wired legs, so that he could be positioned how ever she'd like. Other than the wire, he's fully needlefelted.

All of this I put into a box with Coraline designs on it and stars inside.

The only thing that wouldn't fit in the box was the painting of Coraline in her slicker and boots.
