hey Sam, I'm so glad you like everything! The record I bought wasn't the one I was sent.. I actually bought the whole hangin' tough album but they sent the 'tougher mix' arghhh! But with all the royal mail trouble I didn't want to risk not getting the right one in time!

The tags should be good as Christmas is coming up, or scrapbooking Cheesy

And the lyrics in the journal Match my interpretation of that 'scene' as seen on the image on the front Smiley

I'm really glad you like it all, I was getting a bit nervous :s hehe!

It's actually super easy, here's a tute I just found http://alceria.net/recordbowl/

If you pre-heat your oven, it will take less than a minute to be mouldable! Just watch your fingers. Course, because I'm such a perfectionist, I put it back in the oven about 5 times so I could get a shape I liked! Cheesy

Hello.. me again! Just thought I'd post pics of the crafts I sent to Thunderchild Smiley

First off those gift tags Smiley the first three have lyrics from The Beatles 'Hard Day's Night' the first pic of these they're not finished, and they're not all there! Second pic, all tied up & ready to go!

Second, that record bowl! Do you know how difficult it is to get a decent photo of a record bowl.. this is the best I could do..!

And the journal Smiley
It's my interpretation of the first set of lyrics from The Beatles, 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' - The images used were all my own and transformed into what I hope is a good photo manipulation!
Lyrics in the Journal to paint a picture for you:

The journal itself! - Slightly disturbing to see that weird.. scary ghostly face at the bottom of the photo inset on the journal.. can you guys see it?!  Undecided

And the image on its own

If anyone's interested, the original images are -

Sorry I haven't commented all week. All of this stuff is great. I can't wait to receive from my partner, in the meantime I live vicariously through you all. Now there are very many record bowl tutes right here on craftster. I only sent my partner the doors record clock because it was unplayable. I have a lot of old records that can't be played anymore, but there are a lot of ideas for old records.

I just finished two week training, so hopefully, I can catch up on all my swap crafting. Cool

Whoa, the ghostly face is strange! Very cool stuff, I especially love the tags as I am no good at all with papercrafts.
Now I am going to complain for a minute...
*WHAAAAA!* I want my package! Waiting on international mail sucks, I hope customs doesn't have my stuff! Tongue

I'VE RECEIVED!!! A box, filled with a box full of amazingness! Grin
I can't find my camera charger, so photos will have to wait til I can snatch my sister's tomorrow (we have the same camera).
Thank you so much crafty_one!
LOTS of pictures!!!
Here are the Libertines goodies the amazing crafty_one sent to me:
this shirt, I love it and it fits perfectly!

this completely gorgeous accordian photo display - I love this so much, you have no idea! I can't stop looking at it, you chose such great pictures! And I LOVE that it has my favorite lyric on it (I recently started a half-sleeve based on that lyric actually). Grin It says "If you've lost your faith in love and music, oh the end won't be long"

other side:

and detail pics:

This decoupaged box, which I absolutely adore! So many great pictures, all of which I am going to show  Tongue

I love the middle picture here, it's my absolute favorite of Peter:

and not one, but TWO sets of earrings and matching necklaces! I love both of these so much, they're exactly my style. The bass ones will be perfect for my trip to Vegas and LA next month as I'm going to see one of my other favorite bands, and my friend and I are ALL about the bassist. Grin

Thank you SOOOO much crafty_one, I absolutely love everything! Grin Grin Grin

I will be adding action shots when I get home and get all this work nastiness washed off of me. LOL
