I think that the oil would be more durable. The acrylic just feels a bit plastic-y. Also the oil has a bit of a gloss when it dries and the floor currently has a matte finish.

I love color - but that black and white bathroom is fabulous!  You definitely have an eye for putting things together-everything about it is perfect.  Glad to see the bird cabinet in action - a great piece! Smiley
