Dobiemuse, I'm sorry to hear about your loss too! I'm missing my dogs too, who are at my friend's. Especially Bear. When I call her, she puts the phone to Bear's ear, and I say,"Give me kisses, Bear!Smmoch sounds..." She says everytime I do that he kisses her. Mikey is scared of the phone.
But Bear knows it's me. Last time I saw him, I said,"Bear, I'll call you call you on the phone." He looked at the phone with sad eyes, but he knew what I was saying, "cause I've been talking to him on the phone since May.
So, I want to send some presents over there. There's only snow a few days a year, in the high desert.About 3500 ft. elevation, we get some snow, but mostly ice. But, it gets to freezing for a few months, and even when it's not, there are these horrible thorns called Boarsheads that get in thier feet. So you see, those boots would help anytime they go for walks.
I really appreciate the tute, I saved it in my favorites. I was thinking the boots had to come up higher for the back legs.
And then there's the horses! That's a whole other category! Diane has a horse whose going to need a new blanket. But back to dogs. I could make some nice things, with materials on hand. Funds are tight for sending, so I was concerned about signing up right now. I could do some sewn items. And make some toys. Has anyone seen my recent leather doggie Bear.... it's called a Bear for a Bear" in the toy board. I have some thick leather for other toys, and used to make fabric frisbees for my first dog, Buddy.Geez... maybe I better sign up!

I"m really bummed becasue I can't sign up for this. I just don't have the funds to ship since tomorrow is my last day working. I probably won't be able to do many swaps at all.
But I have to be responsible even though I want to be like a little kid and sign up. ;P
I will be stalking this round though and perhaps next round I can sign up!

OK so I made a forced attempt to get a pic of my 2 boys.
This is Benosn he is 6.5 and an Olde English Bulldog, he came from Benson NC hence his name. And little Rocco is 9.5 and a Chihuahua, the easter bunny brought him for my DS when he was 3.
And under the dora blanket is my other DS, it's not just a lump. Roc was trying to stay warm.

Sorry it's blurry, don't know what happened there.

Thanks for the kind words. He filled this house up so much that it is so empty without him... and that is kinda funny because I have a dobie pup (well, technically he is still a pup until he is 2 years old), a malemute, and a shetland sheepdog.

Hmm... maybe my name should have fur in the title, eh? Smiley

I posted partners on the front page! sending out surveys now. I had to do a round robin because we had an uneven number of swappers. Let me know if there's any problems ASAP please!

Eee!! Corgi!! How adorable! <3

try pm'ing thatkid, because we were forced into a round robin because of an uneven number. Maybe we can throw u in and making everything even. It's still early enough to switch things around.

I'm cool with it too, nothings sent in stone yet.

We got a vet apt in the morning, my bullie has been sick all day and he has never been sick before. He's been puking all day and I found a piece of rope in it, they had a toy rope which I throw out the other day. Hopefully it's nothing major! He also eats papertowels too  Roll Eyes Other than that he is acting totally normal, so we'll see. And I think I have to find him a more appropriate collar before we go b/c he is wearing a pink one now, LOL.
