It's cute.  I love the handle/fins.  Is the tail tied in a knot?  What did you use for the noisemaker?

Yes, it's a knot, and you can buy the pattern here: www.madebyyou.se I don't know if she has the patterns in english, but ask her.

It's quite big and not something for a child under a year. I used a bell (like this http://www.papegojprat.se/modules/smartsection/images/pingla.jpg) for rattle. you could use a plastic ball like the ones you get in kinder surprise too, but the bell is not loud and you have to think about those little ears.

The handles are crocheted like trumpets and then sewn on. It's very easy to make and if you have some knowledge about amigurumis it shouldn't be a big problem to figure out how to make it.

Both mouth and eyes are crocheted separately and then sewn on.
