I recently did the Adult Swim Swap; my partner was moxiepurple. I decided to base all of my crafts on her favorite episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force - "The Shaving" - a Halloween episode complete with a purple Meatwad ("The Incredible Plum"), Frylock in a sailor hat, and a mysterious onion/garlic monster named Willie Nelson. She really wanted a shirt, so I decided it was about time I tried stenciling. I had some contact paper leftover from lining some drawers, so I printed out the words I wanted and taped the printed paper to the contact paper. It took me a while to cut out all the tiny pieces, but I did it, and the letters turned out great. Then, I used a transfer pencil to iron the outline of what I wanted to paint onto the shirt. I worked from a blown-up screen shot for reference, as shown in the second picture. I used acrylic mixed with fabric medium for the most part, with some random fabric paints as well. I was so happy with the way it turned out, especially since it's the first shirt I've ever done. Without further ado, I present The Incredible Plum!

Random Trivia - Originally, in this episode, Meatwad was green and had an Incredible Hulk mask, but after copyright issues, they decided to turn him purple and call him the Plum. Personally, I think it's way funnier that way. Best opening quotes regarding this gag: Meatwad - "Remember, this Halloween, you won't like me when I'm angry." Master Shake - "I don't like you EVER."

I love that swaps inspire me to try new things but now everyone wants me to make them a shirt!

(I hope it's okay this project was only half stenciling; I felt like this was the best place to put it.)
