I used an out of print Simplicity 3538 jacket pattern for this. I think I went like 5 different places looking for this pattern. The pattern was seriously awesome. It fit perfectly, didn't have to do any alterations, and it looks super cute. I used a black sweatshirt knit and these crazy cute card suit buttons I got at Britex Fabrics in the city. My boyfriend looked like he was going to kill me when he found out how much I spent on the buttons, but they are damn cute. And the knit was the last on the bolt so I got it crazy cheap! So it evens out.
