Hey guys...is anybody ready for IYP 14?  I'll be posting sign ups on October 1st, and they'll go until the 16th, then we'll have until the end of November to craft (about 1.5 months).

There will be a couple of rule changes this round.  I'm working on getting them all straightened out right now, and I'll post about them here before sign ups start.

I'd love to do this swap again, but I'm already in two big swaps.  I'll be keeping an eye out for it while I try to get my other swaps well under way.

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

I'd like to participate again! Only one partner this time!

Things I'm Looking For In A Partner
1. Lives In USA
2. An AMAZING Knitter (What I Really, Really Want and What I would Like To Have)
3. Would Like To Do A Smaller Sized Package. (Depends on how long knitting takes for those projects, I'm not a very good or quick knitter.)

I'd Like To Make For My Partner
Paper Crafts, Sewn Items, Crochet, Anything really PM me and we can talk about it!

I'm really interested in the rule changes, I wonder what they will be about/if they are about what I think they are about?

I'm not sure what you'd classify as an amazing knitter, but that hat is definitely do-able! Smiley

I'd clasify an amazing knitter as someone who knows what they are doing, does test swatches and makes sure that the gauge and everything is right.

Edit: sorry I meant to write more but my best friend came over so I just posted what I had already typed.

I dunno, I just really want something nicely knitted, and in the colors I want, not just whatever they have lying around.

I just really need that hat in a similar color scheme (electric/blue and  silver/grey) and I don't really like variegated yarns.

I'm going to go check out the knitting area and see what I can find.

Oh and Lapoli those mittens you knit are very nice looking! Actually everything of yours that I saw was knitted looks awesome expecially the tam I could totally trust you to make the stargate fairile hat! And you're socks look awesome! You are totally an Amazing knitter!
