I made this over the last 2 days. The blue is vinyl I cut and applied to the wall. The clock was upcycled (is that the correct usage of that word?) from a free clock I got for getting a magazine subscription. It was mounted in a wooden pedestal. The front and back looked fine but there were no sides. I cut up a soda can and spray painted it gold, and pinched it between the back and front. It hangs from nails put through the vinyl.

It hangs in my hallway facing the front door.

I followed this design: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5739787

There was a second clock I designed but don't have anywhere to put, equally cute in my opinion.

Thank you for the kind feedback. I really love the way this turned out.
