hi guys. happy easter! Grin

i was inspired by pinkanddinky's little birdy, and when i found this ceramic pear for a buck at the thrift store, i took it home to experiment.

(it started off plain white, but i didn't take any pictures of it then!)

i have to say, though, this is a terrible picture! i mixed white acrlyic and mod podge to get a more subdued look, but i think the flash just focused on that instead of the real colors! also, that's a really really old dictionary definition of "pear" on there! the whole deal is sealed with clear glossy craft sealant. i'll have to take a better picture during the day when it's better lighting...

thanks for looking!

i got a better picture! um, color-wise, at least.... yep, these colors are a lot closer, but i'm still having issues with sharpness, even on the macro function! any tips, since i'm thinking of putting this in my etsy?

oh, and here's a half-done cat! she's old dictionary scraps and music scrapbook paper, instead of a mutlitude of scraps from the same color family.

thanks for looking!
