I just found this-

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270187.0

whilst browsing through the old swap galleries, and, *gasp!* Everything is so beautiful!

Here is the original post, including the 'rules' for the swap and more on the general theme-

I think this is such an amazing idea, I want to take part in one myself! Since I'm not qualified to organise, and certainly don't have the time, I thought I'd post here to see if anybody else was interested. I think it's certainly suitable for dark winter months Smiley

What a great idea!  I'll have to see when it would be, but if I have the time, I'd love to join.

Love this idea - I'm in if it takes off the ground! I allways really enjoy books which are fairy tales that have been written to make the (generally) heroine much more sassier and interesting. I particularly love goose girl (& sequal) and Spindlers end - can't remember the authors of either though!

the author of Spindle's End is called Robin McKinley, he also wrote a book called Beauty which was a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, although the heroine wasn't quite so strong in that one.

Cheers ... I haven't read Beauty so I'll have to put that on my reading list!
