Well, Hershey's if you plan to eat it too!  But any chocolate syrup will probably do in a pinch!

add some cocoa powder to make it darker, and if you want any scabby parts, apply unflavored gelatin to any area! just wet the gelatin powder and it will stick right to you. it looks super gross and amazing!

Not sure if you were wanting to know where to get the liquid latex or the golden syrup.....the only place around here I've found golden syrup is on line (I needed some for a recipe one time.)  The liquid latex you should be able to find this time of year in any halloween or big costume shop.  It comes in a little bottle. You might want to try adding chocolate syrup to the mix. It makes it darker and thicker.
Otherwise you did a good job :3

looks like you have it mostly under control.  a warning on the liquid latex, it's usually pretty expensive.  At least the good stuff is.  The cheap stuff has always given me a rash, and I know i'm not allergic to latex since I used it almost every day in the shows i'm in right now. . .but it's a lot of fun learning how to create wounds.  good luck on the prank war!
