I have my main background fabrics, and have chosen the design for them, and cut out my templates. Will hopefully cut ut and sew tomorrow, then I can start working on the finer details of my image.

I received my background fabric in the mail yesterday - it is awesome! I've refined my plan and decided on the other fabrics I will be using. I shall start this week and hopefully make quite a bit of progress throughout the weekend.

Bad timing I know, but I'll be moving soon (Oct 22?). Most of my stuff will be moving from storage to a new place (I've been staying with my daughter, with my sewing machine, my crafting materials and my dog!). Not too disruptive, if I stay organized. But it will be taking some of my free time. I've been looking for a place to move to for months, so am relieved the search is over and I found a great place!

Well, I was really excited about my idea, but now I just feel "blah" about it. A totally different idea has worked its way into my head. Guess I'll do the same thing I did last round- start both ideas and then go with whichever is more fun!

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

I bought my background fabric!!! I am really excited to get started, but my boyfriends birthday is the 10th and i am still crafting his present. he is going to be 26!!!! I am cross stitching some patches from his favorite bands...i hope he likes them. i always get so nervous crafting for him, probably because i really don't wanna screw up, especially since this is my fist cross stitch adventurer!!  Anyway, i should be getting started next week sometime, and i hope it all works out.

I decided I have to go buy a bit more fabric  Grin. I'll do that tomorrow after work - Joann's is on my way home. I should make great progress this weekend I think.

I am over 50% finished. I have been working on mine ALL day today. I am pleased and excited on the outcome so far.  My kids and dh really like it and keep cheering me on. I am really challenging myself on this one.

I am wokring on a memory quilt for my friend who's nephew was killed ( one of the 8 ) in Afganistan this past weekend. I need to get that done so she can give it to his momma at the funeral. I am honored to make it and to be a life member of Patriot Guard and we are honored to stand for him. I will get started when this is done. It is beatiful so far.
